It is with great pleasure that we share here some of the many photographs made by photographer and author Attila Szalay-Berzeviczy when he attended the 'First Illumination' of the 60ft long bas-relief sculpture 'A Soldier's Journey' by sculptor Sabin Howard in Pershing Park, Washington DC. This commemorates Americans who served during the First World War and is surely the last, national war memorial to those who served in the Great War. Part I.
