The Rising of the Son is a poignant illustrated talk by Paul Thornber, a poet and author deeply moved by the legacy of World War I. This 40-minute presentation focuses on the selection and exhumation of the Unknown Warrior and his solemn journey from France to Westminster Abbey.

Members and non-members of the Western-Front Association are equally welcome. Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.
