into the various roles played by each aircraft type. Then personal recollections through the
8-10 of August detailing actions of Army Cooperation (particularly tanks). Scouts,
Reconnaissance and bombers. Final section covering the logistics and tasking of the RAF
during its first major operation as an independent force.
