Do we fight the British or the Germans? Boer rebellion 1914-1918

Speaker: James White
Battle Of Mushroom Valley

Who do we fight - the British or the Germans?” The Boer Rebellion 1914/15 - a little known episode of the Great War when with bitter memories of the Boer War still very much to the fore some parts of the Boer population openly rebelled against the Union of South Africa Government when it declared war on Germany.  In putting down the rebellion more Boers were killed by their own kith and kin than by the Germans in the following campaign in South West Africa.

Members and non-members of the Western-Front Association are equally welcome. Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.
