The Balaklava of the Dardanelles

The 2nd Mounted Division consisted of some of the oldest and finest Yeomanry Regiments. They were sent to Gallipoli, without their horses and were decimated supporting an offensive on the Suvla front in August 1915, for no gain whatsoever. Ian will tell this story of great bravery which could not compensate for poor leadership.
