Welcome to the Essex branch of the Western Front Association.

We meet at two venues, one every other month, meet from 7:30 for an 8pm start.

Please note that our meetings are always open to both members and non-members of the WFA.

Hatfield Peverel: The Bar Area, The Village Hall, Maldon Rd, Hatfield Peverel, CM3 2HP on the second Wednesday of January, March, May, July September and November.

Hornchurch: 'The Poppy Lounge', 1st Floor, Legion House (RBL Hornchurch Branch), 205 High Street, Hornchurch, Essex, RM11 3XT, on the second Wednesday of February, April, June, August, October and December

Car parking available onsite at Hatfield Peverel.

There is very limited parking at the actual venue in Hornchurch but ample nearby in public car park in Fentiman Way. This car park now charges for evening / overnight parking and no longer accepts cash. There is one machine that is pay-by-card and this is right by the entrance to the car-park.

Both venues allow use of the bar.

We request an entrance donation £3.50.

There is a book raffle at each meeting which supports our Memorial Fund, allowing us to assist in memorial development, principally in Essex.

For information we also have a Branch Facebook page, which is regularly updated. As you would expect this has a strong Essex focus. Search under The Western Front association Essex Branch.
