Talbot House
This talk will tell the story of Talbot House, its importance in the First World War and its post war history, including its legacy.
Martin has undertaken the role of Warden on several occasions. Martin has also let me know that December 2025 will be the 110th anniversary of its opening, so a perfect time for the talk.
We meet from 7:30pm, for an 8pm start, in the Poppy Lounge, upstairs at the Royal British Legion at Hornchurch. We request an entrance donation of £3.50 and we have access to the RBL bar.
There is parking nearby, in Fentiman Way, which is 24-hour pay and display. No cash is taken and there is a machine that accepts card payments right by the entrance.
Members and non-members of The Western Front Association are equally welcome. Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.
