A Doctor At War

Speaker: Steve Roberts
OR BH 28 1

Our talk at Hornchurch on the 12th of August will tell the story of Sir Geoffrey Keynes who served in the RAMC during the Great War. This is a truly fascinating story and covers a huge amount of ground.

Steve Roberts  is a military historian and battlefield guide who specialises in the
First World War. Since 2016, he has been the historian for the Soldiers' Charity, Army Benevolent Fund, Front Line Walks in France and Belgium.

This meeting is at The Poppy Lounge of the Royal British Legion, 205 High Street, Hornchurch, RM11 3XT, starting at 8pm.

Members and non-members of The Western Front Association are equally welcome. Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.
