The Battles of the Isonzo

Our talk on the 8th of July at Hatfield Peverel is about the numerous Battles along the Isonzo River that became such a major feature of the war in northern Italy.

This battlefield is of great interest to Jim as he has family in the nearby area and had a relative that fought in that part of Italy in the Great War. Jim previously gave us a talk about the Redipuglia Italian Third Army Memorial in 2025. He is Essex based and owns an antiquarian bookshop.

This meeting is at The Village Hall, Maldon Road, Hatfield Peverel, CM3 2HP, starting at 8pm. 

Members and non-members of The Western Front Association are equally welcome. Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.
