The Battles of the Isonzo

Our talk on the 8th of July at Hornchurch is about the numerous Battles along the Isonzo River that became such a major feature of the war in northern Italy.

The area is of great interest to Jim as he has family in the nearby area and had a relative that fought in that part of Italy in the Great War. Jim previously gave us a talk about the Redipuglia Italian Third Army Memorial in 2025. He is Essex based and owns an antiquarian bookshop.

This meeting is at The Poppy Lounge of the Royal British Legion, 205 High Street, Hornchurch, RM11 3XT, starting at 8pm. 

Members and non-members of The Western Front Association are equally welcome. Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.
