The Battle of Messines Ridge

Colin introduces the Battle of Messines Ridge that started at 3.10am on the 7th June 1917 with the detonation of mines under the German trenches and defensive positions. The battle ran between 7th and 14th June 1917.
Members and non-members of The Western Front Association are equally welcome. Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.
