The talk originally planned and promoted for April has had to be postponed to 2025. Therefore, Roy Larkin has kindly offered to stand in and make another visit to the branch to speak about The Invisible Corps (ASC)
Roy's note on his talks says: "A brief look at the Army Service Corps 1914-18 revealing a story of evolution, passing the buck and meddling civilians".
Roy has a wide interest in logistics and transport on the Western Front and his talks have been well received at this branch and others round the country.
As ever, all members and guests are welcome to attend - indeed we encourage members to support the local branch. Doors open c13.30 and we do ask for £4.00 on the door to cover speaker costs, room hire etc. We start with brief parish notcies and then the speaker has the floor; a tea break is included during the afternoon and there is always opportunity for Q&A.
