‘The Learning Process in Practice: Some Case Studies of Tactics and Training, 1916-1918' Peter Simkins
02 Oct

Our October branch meeting takes place on Sunday, 2nd October. We are very pleased to welcome the President of The Western Front Association, Peter Simkins.

Peter is one of the leading Great War historians and is very well known for his detailed examination of Kitchener's Armies and many, many other aspects of 1914-18 in print, on-line and at conferences over the years.

On this occasion, Peter will speak on ‘The Learning Process in Practice: Some Case Studies of Tactics and Training, 1916-1918'.

Doors open at 13.40 for a 14.00 start. We do ask for £3.00 on the door to cover room hire etc. Refreshments in the interval will be back on the programme this month.

As ever, all members and guests are invited to attend. In view of having such an eminent speaker, it would be handy if those who plan to attend but are not regular attendees could email the branch chairman so that we can ensure adequate space, tea and coffee etc.
