The presentation will be live and online.

Join us as we mark the 110th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme, with a dive into one small quadrant of the battlefield that we will also be walking across later this year on the WFA Chairmans tour.

This Webinar, with Historian and Battlefield Guide Julian Whippy from Battle Honours tours, will look at some selected actions around the woods and villages of Combles, Guillemont and Ginchy from September 1916. It will compare the British plans and battlefield experiences with those of the Germans.
