RAF involvement in the Battle of Amiens

In this presentation, Colin will cover the ground plan followed by a detailed account of the RAF during the Battle of Amiens. He will look into the various roles played by each aircraft type.

There will be personal recollections of those who went through the 8-10 of August attack, detailing actions of Army Cooperation (particularly tanks). Scouts, Reconnaissance and bombers. The final section of this presentation will cover the logistics and tasking of the RAF during its first major operation as an independent force.
