The 12th Lancers Moy , 28th August 1914. How to get it right first time !

Speaker: Phil Wilson
Return From The Charge (Passing Through J Bty RHA) (1)

When acting as the rearguard for Haig's I Corps, the 12th Lancers  demonstrated the effectiveness of peacetime training and that, in open warfare, the British cavalry was still an effective arm of service. It's an example of how to get things right the first time!

Members and non-members of The Western Front Association are equally welcome. Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.

The meeting is open to anyone with an interest in the Great War, you don't have to be a member of the Western Front Association to attend, we would appreciate a donation of £4 to cover room and speakers fees.

Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.
