Leicestershire & Rutland branch

Welcome to the Leicestershire & Rutland Branch of The Western Front Association

We do not charge an attendance fee but do suggest a voluntary contribution of £3 per person to cover venue and guest speaker costs.

We aim to offer an extremely interesting and diverse programme of external and internal guest speakers from January to December.

The Branch's year runs from 1 November to 31 October and the AGM is normally held at either the November or December meeting.

We run a popular raffle during the interval at each Branch meeting with a strip of tickets costing just £1.

Refreshments are available from the venue's pay bar on arrival and also during a short break at the mid-point of the guest speaker's talk which is usually at around 8.15pm.

Our meetings conclude by remembering the service of individual men and women from Leicestershire and Rutland in World War One.

Members and non-members of The Western Front Association are equally welcome.

Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.

We look forward to welcoming you to our branch meetings
