We meet on the first Saturday of the month (except Bank Holidays when meetings will be held on the second Saturday of the month). All meetings start at 1.30pm.

Branch secretary John Storey tells the story of the events surrounding the death of Lt Colonel William Norman Stewart, DSO, TD, killed on the 22nd March 1918 whilst commanding the 6th Battalion Leicestershire Regiment, at Epehy, & the search for his final resting place.

Event DetailsThe Penmaenmawr Quarry Boys "From Stone To Sand" Anne Pedley
Anne Pedley tells the story of the men who worked at the local stone quarry in North Wales, & who enlisted together at the beginning of the war & served in Gallipoli, Egypt & Palestine. Anne is a former lecturer. She is a trustee at the Royal Welch Fusiliers Museum situated in Caernarfon Castle.
