Men, machines and mousetraps - a Leeds firm at war

Speaker: Andrea Hetherington
Leeds Pals

Procter Brothers are one of Leeds' oldest established firms, making Little Nipper mousetraps, superior machine guards and 'anything in wire'. This talk examines their role in the war effort, from the Western Front to anti-bomb netting for Buckingham Palace. It also looks at the personal cost of the Great War to a firm and a family.
