Samuel Hannah was killed in action on this day in 1917.
Samuel was born on 9 January 1898 in Loudon, Ayrshire. His parents were Samuel Hannah Sr and Flora Struthers.
Before the war he lived with his parents in Hamilton, Lanarkshire and was a painter's apprentice.

Samuel joined the Household Cavalry in February 1916.

He was killed in action on 11 April 1917 at Arras and is commemorated on the Arras memorial.
