The landing at 'Y' Beach at Gallipoli, 1915 and the aftermath

On 25 April 1915, landings at Gallipoli took place. We normally think of this as a 'bloodbath' but there were opportunities that were not taken which could have been exploited and perhaps changed the course of history. In this short clip Clive Harris describes the aftermath of the landing at 'Y' Beach and explores one of the major 'What if's...' of this campaign.

This clip is part of an hour long 'virtual tour' that is available for members of The Western Front Association entitled 'To bite and to hold: The Royal Naval Division at Krithia 1915'.

This Virtual Tour is available for members to watch in its entirety by logging into the members' area of the WFA's website.
