Those interested in the history of the Great War will be aware of the Gallipoli campaign that commenced in April 1915 when an Allied force landed at Cape Helles, and ended the following January. However, some many not be aware of the rich history of the country of Turkey. In 2025 Pat Sheehan of the Cork Branch visited Turkey.
