William Coltman: Bravery under fire

Tim Coltman's great grandfather is William Coltman and he was involved in WW1 but refused to fight and kill as a result of his faith but went to war as a stretcher bearer. William Coltman is now described as the highest decorated soldier of the British Army having been awarded the Victoria cross, Military medal and bar and the Distinguished conduct medal and bar. The presentation traces William Coltman's life.

You don't have to be a Member of The Western Front Association to attend our meetings as all are equally welcome. Do come along and enjoy a friendly atmosphere and the good company of fellow enthusiasts.
