A talk by Sarah Nathaniel, Commonwealth War Graves South East ' The CWGC: A deeper look'

Sarah Nathaniel is the Public Engagement Coordinator for the CWGC in the South East Region.  Her role covers Kent, East and West Sussex.  She is one of eleven, covering the whole country.

Sarah's introduction to the Western Front was on a tour in 2004 with a group of other young people.  The cemeteries made a particular impact in the visitors and she was also lucky enough to meet Henry Allingham (1896-2009), RNAS and a veteran of the Battle of Jutland.

The CWGC commemorates 31,000 personnel in 700 locations in the region.  Although we may think we know a lot about the Commission, Sarah's experience of working in the organisation has enabled her to find out far more and she will be sharing this with us.
