The Royal Blockade and the U- boats.

The crucial restriction of food imports and raw materials to Germany resulted in the starvation of the German civilian population with terrible consequences. British scientists, unlike their German counterparts, anticipated food shortages and made a major contribution to winning the war.

Members and non-members of The Western Front Association are equally welcome. Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.
