Lancashire (North) Book Club

This is the second running of the Branch Book Club and again several members will read the chosen book and give their impresssions, reviews and observations on the book and the author.

There is no requirement to have read the book to attend and take part as attendees at last year's first one will attest.

The book chosen is 'Old Soldiers Never Die' by Private Frank Richards.

This year we will hear about the experiences of a private soldier in the British trenches to compare and contrast with last year's book 'Storm of Steel' by Ernst Junger.

Members and non-members of The Western Front Association are equally welcome. Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.
