The Butterworth Brothers

Ian tells the story of the Butterworth brothers who are commemorated on a number of memorials in Lancaster.
They are four brothers who all lost their lives in the Great War.
Miraculously, Ian's great grandfather William's remains were discovered in 2009.
The talk gives some insight into a family who lost more than most.
Members and non-members of The Western Front Association are equally welcome. Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.
