St Georges Day event in Whitton 23 April 2023

The Chairman and Secretary took the opportunity to assist on the Whitton Community Centre table during what proved to be a somewhat damp St George's Day Parade in Whitton High Street at the end of April. Thanks to the WFA Office we had a selection of back issues of both Stand To! and the Bulletin as well as WFA car stickers, pencils and flyers to hand out and we both made contact with a number of people some local to Branch but others from further afield (Chairman's record was a South African Army officer!)

I would like to thank the Community Centre for the invitation to join them for this (and also for the photo attached). As you will see they allowed us to display the branch banner as well as taking the space to display the promotional items mentioned above on the table.
