The U-Boat Campaign & Anti-Submarine Strategy, Tactics & Operations in the Great War
The maritime Great War 1914-18 saw the first truly three-dimensional warfare in human history, with the first submarine 'guerre de course' being a particular feature of the conflict. This talk provides a short overview of the campaigns, key incidents, figures, the eventual defeat of the submarines, and an assessment of its effectiveness.
