Footballers at War by David Bull

The subject of footballers’ contribution to the Great War has been a subject of much interest in recent years within the wider context of sportsmen at war. David Bull will share his research and have copies of his book for sale.

Meetings take place at Highworth Community Centre, The Dormers, Highworth, Wiltshire SN6 7PE. There is parking on site at the front as well as behind the building. Doors open by 13.40 and we usually have a break for refreshments part way through the talk or before Q&A. We ask for a donation of £4.00 on the door to cover room hire etc. All members and guests are most welcome.
