Somme 110 conference announced for July 2026

Save the date for the WFA’s President’s Conference, taking place at the Army & Navy Club in London.

Four leading historians will gather on Saturday 4 July to mark the 110th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme. Professor Stephen Badsey, Dr Adam Prime, Dr Linda Parker and Professor Peter Doyle each bring fresh perspectives to the 1916 campaign, with a panel discussion chaired by Dr Spencer Jones closing the day.

The conference runs from 10.15am to 5pm, with the £70 ticket price covering refreshments and a finger food lunch in the club’s elegant Pall Mall surroundings.
