The Barnbow Munitions Factory Incident
This presentation looks at the building and operation of the Number One Shell Filling Factory at Barnbow during the First World War. It explains the various accidents which occurred there one of which resulted in the death of 40 female munitions workers. It also describes the lives of some of the victims and how they were affected by the working conditions and the explosions.
