'Buses, Bullets and Bombs'

Speaker: Doug Smith
Bus 2

The Second World War names on the Birmingham Transport Ground War Memorial are a microcosm of the War.   Soldiers, sailors and airmen are covered in many of the theatres of the War.  Some died on the battlefield, some at sea, some in accidents and some in prisoner of war camps.  Their story also includes those who died on the home front and also those who performed bravely helping workers get to the factories to help others win the war.

Members and non-members of The Western Front Association are equally welcome.

Any new visitors are guaranteed a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome from a group of like-minded enthusiasts.

We look forward to welcoming you to our branch meetings.
