World War I Articles

We are delighted to share well over a thousand articles on every aspect of the First World War written by experts in their field. Some were first published in the WFA's publications Stand To! or Bulletin, but the majority have been specially researched and written for the WFA's website.

Using the dropdown filter buttons below, you will be sure to find articles that will be of interest to you.

All you need to do is first select a 'theme', then select a subject. Alternatively, if you wish to look at all articles by a particular author, you can do so. These articles are either written pieces or videos: you can choose to look for either (or both).
