We shall welcome Tom Isitt to Hatfield Peverel on Wednesday 10th of January to receive his presentation on the Italian Front. Tom supplements the historic detail of the various actions through the War with fantastic current day photos of the positions held by both sides , often perched on precarious peaks along the mountain ranges on the border between Italy and Austria. To give a good perspective on what the soldiers of both sides endured, Tom had to learn to climb to visit the various locations. This is a subject that I suspect is not known in great detail by many and Tom's photos really make this a presentation not to be missed.
Meet 7:30 for 8pm start at the Village Hall, Hatfield Peverel. Car parking is available on site and we request an entrance donation of £3.50. Those who are not members of the WFA are always welcome.
