It is with great pleasure that we share in a series of articles, twenty four of the photographs made by photographer and author Attila Szalay-Berzeviczy. Attila attended on a Press Pass on the evening of Friday 13th September.
The 'First Illumination' of the 60ft long bas-relief sculpture 'A Soldier's Journey' by sculptor Sabin Howard in Pershing Park, Washington DC was a moving event which can be viewed on YouTube courtesy of the Doughboys Association.
The sculpture commemorates Americans who served during the First World War and is surely the last, national war memorial to those who served in the Great War. Part II
